We urgently need more volunteers to listen to distressed callers.
As a listening volunteer during your shifts you will be answering the phone and giving emotional support to distressed and suicidal callers. Before you start answering the phones you will receive Samaritans’ training.
At our information sessions you will be given details of how to make an application and, following a successful interview, you will start your training with us and join the Plymouth branch.
