Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains how we (Time4Good) handle your personal data on our platform. But just imagine a mama lion protecting her cubs. Yep? Ok, please continue...
Here’s our promises to you:
- We only collect info to make your experience better.
- We ask for your Ok before gathering any personal details.
- We never sell your data to third parties.
- We explain why we're collecting info, unless it's obvious.
- We keep your data safe and sound.
- We respect your data preferences and rights.
- We only send you emails about your use of T4G.
- We get your thumbs-up before sending any marketing emails.
Basically, we'll watch over you and watch out for you (like mama). We're not here to exploit you like, well let us think, which social networks sell your data and bombard you with unwanted ads all day, everyday? Yeah, we're not like them.

3. How we use your personal data
We'll only ever use your personal data only for the listed purposes, unless we find a really good reason to mix things up. If we do, we'll update this Privacy Policy and lay out why we're making the change.
So, what's our "legal basis" for processing your personal data? Well, we're all about following the rules, especially those set by the EU's GDPR. We rely on:
- Contractual necessity: When we need your data for a contract.
- Legitimate interests: When it's necessary for our interests and yours.
- Compliance with law: When we must follow legal obligations.
- Consent: When you give specific approval.
We don't usually beg for your consent, except when we're trying to sweet-talk you into receiving our fabulous marketing messages.

5. How we secure your personal data
We take your data security seriously. Your info sits snugly on our UK-based servers with top-notch protection - think strong passwords, regular updates and a firewall that's the envy of other firewalls.
To fend off hackers, we've got fancy tricks like password hashing and salting, plus secret ninja moves against things like SQL sneak attacks. But remember, the internet's like a crowded market - pretty safe, but you still gotta watch your wallet.
Keep your password close like it's your favourite snack. We won't ask for it unless you're logging in, and please, no sharing - your account is yours, plain and simple!
6. How long we store your personal data for
We'll hang onto your personal data until:
- You delete your account.
- You decide you want to be forgotten (like when you had that embarrassing haircut).
- We shut down the website (hopefully no time soon).
Or unless the law says we need to keep it longer.
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data, get a copy and make sure we're playing by the rules.
- Correct any incomplete or inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to erase your data if you think we're hoarding it for no good reason.
- Object if you think we've no Legitimate Interest to use your info for reasons that don't make sense.
- Hit pause on processing if you're not sure about the accuracy or what we're up to.
- Get your personal data in a format you or your best bud can understand.
- Withdraw consent (we'll inform you if this affects your access when you withdraw consent).
8. Things to be mindful of
Here are some important points to keep in mind:
- This platform is for users aged 16 and above; we don't collect data from those under 16.
- If you join a circle, admins might check references from third parties with your blessing.
- Our platform may link to third-party sites and their privacy rules may differ to ours - check them out when you step off our turf.
- If we need more data from you to follow the law and you don't share it when we ask, we might have to curb your platform fun.
- We don't blast you with ads from outsiders. Either way, opting out won't mess with the info you've shared here.
9. How to exercise your rights
To flex those rights we talked about earlier, email us at [email protected].
Accessing your personal data or waving other rights usually won't cost a penny. But if your request is off-the-wall, on repeat or just plain over-the-top, we might ask for a reasonable fee or politely decline.
To verify it's really you, we might need some specific info - gotta keep your data safe, after all. We'll aim to get back to you within a month, but if things get hairy or we're swamped with requests, it might take a bit longer. We'll keep you posted, promise!
10. Making a complaint
If you're not thrilled with this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, drop us a line at [email protected].
If we can't smooth things over, you can always call in the big guns - your local data protection authority, like the UK's Information Commissioner's Office, thanks to our buddy GDPR.
Thanks for reading our privacy policy. Did it give you more thrills than a mystery novel or was it about as exciting as watching paint dry? We certainly hope we explained ourselves clearly.
