Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how we (Time4Good) handle your personal data on our platform. But just imagine a mama lion protecting her cubs. Yep? Ok, please continue...

Here’s our promises to you:

  1. We only collect info to make your experience better.
  2. We ask for your Ok before gathering any personal details.
  3. We never sell your data to third parties.
  4. We explain why we're collecting info, unless it's obvious.
  5. We keep your data safe and sound.
  6. We respect your data preferences and rights.
  7. We only send you emails about your use of T4G.
  8. We get your thumbs-up before sending any marketing emails.

Basically, we'll watch over you and watch out for you (like mama). We're not here to exploit you like, well let us think, which social networks sell your data and bombard you with unwanted ads all day, everyday? Yeah, we're not like them.

1. Who we are

We are Time4Good - a limited company registered in England and Wales (reg no. 15825125).

Our sister company, Made Open (reg no. 4309700), who own the T4G tech, are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (reg no: Z2818556). Our office address, shared with Made Open, is:

Unit FF26
Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre
Truro
Cornwall
TR1 3FF

If Made Open or T4G handles your personal data while fulfilling our contract with you, T4G is the boss (data controller) and Made Open is the helper (data processor). In short, we've both got you covered, but T4G is ultimately responsible!

And let's not forget our good pals at Cloud Above - they're pretty important too! All data captured via this platform is securely stored with our internet hosting provider Cloud Above Ltd, of:

Unit 1,
1 King Mark House,
Tregunnel Hill,
Newquay,
Cornwall
TR7 1GF

We're not just ice creams and sandcastles down here in Cornwall!

2. What personal data we collect

All the personal data we collect is outlined in the table below. Don't worry, it's not as scary as it looks:

7. Your personal data rights

You have the right to:

  1. Access your personal data, get a copy and make sure we're playing by the rules.
  2. Correct any incomplete or inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
  3. Ask us to erase your data if you think we're hoarding it for no good reason.
  4. Object if you think we've no Legitimate Interest to use your info for reasons that don't make sense.
  5. Hit pause on processing if you're not sure about the accuracy or what we're up to.
  6. Get your personal data in a format you or your best bud can understand.
  7. Withdraw consent (we'll inform you if this affects your access when you withdraw consent).

8. Things to be mindful of

Here are some important points to keep in mind:

  • This platform is for users aged 16 and above; we don't collect data from those under 16.
  • If you join a circle, admins might check references from third parties with your blessing.
  • Our platform may link to third-party sites and their privacy rules may differ to ours - check them out when you step off our turf.
  • If we need more data from you to follow the law and you don't share it when we ask, we might have to curb your platform fun.
  • We don't blast you with ads from outsiders. Either way, opting out won't mess with the info you've shared here.

9. How to exercise your rights

To flex those rights we talked about earlier, email us at [email protected].

Accessing your personal data or waving other rights usually won't cost a penny. But if your request is off-the-wall, on repeat or just plain over-the-top, we might ask for a reasonable fee or politely decline.

To verify it's really you, we might need some specific info - gotta keep your data safe, after all. We'll aim to get back to you within a month, but if things get hairy or we're swamped with requests, it might take a bit longer. We'll keep you posted, promise!

10. Making a complaint

If you're not thrilled with this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, drop us a line at [email protected].

If we can't smooth things over, you can always call in the big guns - your local data protection authority, like the UK's Information Commissioner's Office, thanks to our buddy GDPR.

Thanks for reading our privacy policy. Did it give you more thrills than a mystery novel or was it about as exciting as watching paint dry? We certainly hope we explained ourselves clearly.
