Code of conduct
Please raise your right hand and repeat after us:
As a proud member of Time4Good, I solemnly pledge to:
- Be kind, compassionate and respectful.
- Take safety seriously.
- Treat everyone equally.
- Respect everyone’s privacy and personal space.
- Keep religion and politics out of it.
- Seek consent before involving friends or relatives.
- Never request cash, gifts or tips.
- Not eat, drink or smoke on premises, unless invited.
- Borrow or use items only with explicit permission.
- Not do anything that might be considered "risky".
- Respect the Circle Admin's decision as final.

If you're a Circle Admin (or aspiring to be one), keep that hand up and say:
I promise to:
- Verify people's identity.
- Treat everyone fairly.
- Be inclusive and supportive.
- Ensure everyone knows the rules around safety.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Not manipulate the system.
- Weed out negativity.
- Step in if / when needed.
- Stick to our terms of use.
- Reach out if things get challenging.

Why do we need a code of conduct?
Sometimes in life, you just need to sprinkle a bit of common sense on things. Micro volunteering often involves meeting up in person to help each other, so member safety is crucial. A code of conduct, applied, ensures you can trust the circle you're joining.
If you’re ever unsure about an assignment or something feels off, reach out to your circle admin or our T4G buddies for advice. Tech issue? We’ll fix it fast! Complex problem? We’re on it until it’s solved.
That’s it! Let's make micro volunteering a fantastic experience for everyone.
