We're holding an end of summer beach clean with Surfers Against Sewage!
We're a care charity operating in Cornwall. Our carer households, care coordinators and local community minded folks are meeting down on Porthtowan beach to socialise, celebrate the end of summer and clean up the beach.
We have gloves, grabbers and bags to share provided by Surfers Against Sewage. Surfers Against Sewage is a Cornish charity fighting to keep our waterways clean and free of plastic pollution. Check out their work here: https://www.sas.org.uk.
Join us in caring for our precious Cornish coastline by grabbing a pair of gloves and mucking in. This is also a great opportunity for anyone that is interested in becoming a self-employed Shared Lives carer to ask questions and find out what we do :)
October 1st is the first day that dogs are allowed back on the beach so bring along any furry friends to join the fun. RSVP and any questions via the contact details below.
