Dog World is a charity on a mission to build happier lives for dogs and their humans.

We believe dogs make our lives better – and that we should return the favour. 

We work to support dogs who need care, and the people who care for them – especially in times of difficulty. Whether it’s helping with supplies, offering guidance or creating welcoming public spaces, we champion the bond between dogs and humans.

Why the Foundry?

One of our most exciting projects is the revival of the St Blazey Foundry – a once-abandoned site with a rich industrial history. Built by Cornish engineer William West, this historic space is being brought back to life with new purpose.

Our vision is to transform the Foundry into a vibrant community hub:
– A dog-friendly charity shop
– A community nature park with space for walking and reflection
– An indoor market to bring local makers and dog-lovers together

This isn’t just about bricks and mortar – it’s about building something lasting for the community. Every tile fixed, every garden cleared, every lick of paint is helping us create a place that welcomes everyone (especially those with waggy tails).
