Hey everyone! I'm Bernie a single mum with a passion for nature and wildlife.
I've started a volunteer gardening group at Tehidy Rose Garden, to try to save it from being taken over completely by nature.
It's the original rose garden of Lady Basset from way back when Tehidy Estate was owned by the Basset family.
We're still digging into the history of it to discover how many generations of Lady Bassets actually managed it.
Cormac runs a volunteer group who manage the main Tehidy country park side of things and the rose garden needs more intensive maintenance than what they can provide, so I asked to take on the project and set up a side quest of new volunteers.
