Community Supported Agriculture / Community Growing Activities
This farm was bought by the community over 12 years ago. Together we grow food, cook food and sell food as well as planting trees, planting for pollinators and enhancing biodiversity. We use regenerative methods with minmal mechanisation, some areas of 'no dig', we abide by the Wholesome Food Association standards and we work the land sustainably. Bosavern Community Farm is based near St Just in Penwith and has won several awards in recent years.
We have a community woodland, a market garden with 6 polytunnels, a field full of allotments, a farm shop and stalls at two farmers' markets. Every week we deliver veg boxes across Penwith to our Veg Box Members.
We have volunter horticulture/packing/retail/chicken care sessions every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am and we have a volunteer-led tree care group on Sunday afternoons from 2pm. We also welcome applications for residencies from International Volunteers through the WWOOFUK website.
