About
Christian Aid: tackling poverty, injustice & climate crisis worldwide—faith-rooted, people-powered, and driven by hope for all
For 80 years, Christian Aid has stood with the world’s most vulnerable - challenging poverty, confronting injustice and championing dignity for all.
Born from the compassion of churches responding to the devastation of World War II, we’ve grown into a global movement of changemakers, peacemakers, and mighty hearts.
Today, we work in partnership with local communities across the globe to:
- Respond to humanitarian emergencies
- Campaign for systemic change
- Support people to claim their rights and access essential services
- Build resilience against climate shocks and economic injustice
Our mission is rooted in faith, but open to all. We believe poverty is an outrage against humanity - and we won’t stop until it’s eradicated.
