I’m an ex Modern Languages teacher and a keen photographer, sports fan and traveller for pleasure.

I am a former schoolteacher and a new Plymouth resident. I am a keen photographer and music festival goer. I also love sports and belong to the Life Centre where I go to the gym and use the swimming pool. I am a keen reader and love music, especially folk and rock music. I am not as fit and mobile as I was but still like to get out and about, regularly walking or cycling on holidays. I also go travelling in my camper van with my wife, often in Europe as well as in the U.K. I have done a lot of different volunteering in the past: working in a zoo, helping the keepers and preparing the animals’s food; as a helper in an RNLI lifeboat station in Looe; in the back room of a Cancer Research U.K. store; in a community art gallery in Looe, where I also exhibited my photos; as a volunteer with the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, taking part in seal and bird surveys on Looe Island; as well as other activities, like as volunteers in a community theatre, helping out as House Manager or in the Box Office, or behind the bar. I like to be a part of a team and work with other similar minded people towards a common goal, and am open to consider any roles needed.
