Hey! I’m Giu (short for Merran). I used to study fashion and business but now work in marketing and run my feminist magazine, FEMME. The focus is on the power of education - what you know is something no one can take away from you.
Through FEMME, I’m able to share that message and make an impact. Outside of that, I’m passionate about community work - whether it’s helping in kitchens, shelters, cleaning up the streets, or spending time with the elderly.
I love supporting others and seeing how small acts of kindness can make a big difference, especially in schools and SEN placements.
I grew up in London, which came with its challenges, but Plymouth is where I now call home. It’s a place that’s allowed me to heal and grow. I also have a background in mental health and domestic violence, which shapes a lot of the work I do today.
At the heart of everything, if I’m helping people and making a difference, I’m in my element.
