Who am I? I have always been an outdoors person and from an early age my parents would be taken us to Dartmoor on hikes letter boxing. I loved the open ruggedness of Dartmoor and found pleasure and curiosity in finding new places and locations. However, it wasn’t until I finished university that I found a passion for photography. I had always been a sort-of creative person having been heavily into computer programming and games workshop at a very young age. On a trip to Scotland with a friend I found photography. She had brought a Canon PowerShot SX210 which was a sort of Compact / Bridge camera. She taught me about composition and how with a little bit of imagination you could really change the perspective of the image. Photography From this the seeds of a passion grew and by the time I next travelled I had bought my first camera, as Sony NEX 5 with the Kit lens the 18-55mm. I was in Prague and walking around the amazing city and by the time I was back I was hooked. Taking photo’s of almost anything I could find that interested me before settling down on Landscapes and City Scapes. My passions grew until today where I normally within arms reach of my camera and always willing to take the photo. I am able to take photo’s of most situations and able to add my unique view to capture that moment. Whether it’s that special landscape or moment at a party my trained eye is always looking for that perfect photograph. Career Like many photographer I started with a media degree at the University of Plymouth. From this I worked in Jessops, starting as a Christmas temp ending as a Store Manager. It was here that I learnt how to use a camera and the art of photography. Saldy in 2015 my store closed down due to Jessops going into administration and I went from retail job to retail job but keep my photography in my foremost thoughts. After a while I started getting booked for weddings and birthdays which I am still doing until this day.
