About
Empowering isolated local residents by co-creating pathways to volunteer, train and work to build confidence, skills and oportunity.
Together with funding from the National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund we aim to create meaningful, sustainable access to volunteering, up-skilling, and training pathways in Ernesettle, Honicknowle, and Whitleigh—areas north of the A38. Working with local residents and trusted partners such as Four Greens Community Trust, Whitleigh Community Trust and Barnardo’s Family Hub, we’ll co-design these opportunities based on community needs. Our wraparound approach includes confidence-building workshops, one-to-one support, and accredited training to enhance employability. With a strong focus on supporting isolated individuals and those facing medical or personal barriers, we’ll integrate mental health support, craft and social activities, and volunteering to foster long-term wellbeing and engagement within the community.
