*Unfortunately due to a stormy forecast we’ve decided to cancel our New Year’s Day dip into nature. Stay safe and cosy inside and we’ll look to rearrange another dip later in January*

 

We’ve got some exciting group dips planned, and we’d love for you to join us!

Come to Bigbury-on-Sea, The Causeway (opposite Burgh Island) on Wednesday, January 1st, starting at 11am and running until 12:30am. Meet at the bottom of the slipway leading onto the causeway crossing to Burgh Island.

The first 40 people to sign up on Time4Good will receive a free hot drink, courtesy of the amazing generosity of the Beach Barista café - huge thanks to them!

 

** IMPORTANT**

This event is subject to weather conditions, if it is unsafe to swim on the day we will not be dipping.

There will be no safety cover, first aid, or lifeguards present. Dippers are responsible for their own health and safety.

Please only dip if you are a confident swimmer and the weather and tidal conditions and currents are safe. If in doubt, choose another day. Always respect the sea, especially in winter.

We recommend you try to avoid swallowing the water due to increased likelihood of pollution and run-off during the winter months.
